I was all ready to let this domain expire next week and not renew it.
However, a couple of douche-bags in my township committee, and surrounding area, pissed me off by demanding that I take the site down.
Well that was a dumb f*cking move... because they are getting the exact opposite outcome they wanted. If they had just kept their mouths shut for one more week, this domain would have been gone. Poof.
Now it's going to be up another year.
It won't be posting as often because there's less news, etc. going on for a while. Sestak may yet get his final comeuppance, and I'll be sure to comment on it if/when it arrives.

Good for you, David. Recall the words of JFK - sometimes party loyalty asks too much. Being part of a team means something, but not when its interests are vastly outweighed by the danger to the state and nation by electing a man like Sestak to a higher national office.
ReplyDeleteI really do applaud you for what you're doing. You're not alone in the 7th, although you may be the most courageous. Keep speaking the truth. We need it.
I just got the latest Sestak campaign email, where the subject header read "...the absolute brilliance of the Sestak campaign."
ReplyDeleteWho does that?

david,
ReplyDeletei understand and respect what you've done and why you've done it. however, there is a case to be made for big picture politics.
i'm not suggesting that you now support sestak because he is the democratic candidate in pa. however, you've said yourself that no one person meets all of their promises all of the time, that no person is perfect. it is not possible in real life and certainly not in politics.
i tend to be a small picture person and mike is a big picture one, and maybe it's just my hanging out with him for the last 10 years that has gotten me to understand that sometimes we have to let some personal issues rest and look at the big picture and to concentrate on all of the great works yet to be accomplished by this administration and congress, which are generally very good at what they do.
let's get the big stuff done and all feel good about it.
Jackie-
ReplyDeleteWhen someone has demonstrated a consistent allergy to honor, the truth, the good of the party, etc. then that person becomes a long-term, "big picture" risk to the party.
One of the reasons we have so many corrupt politicians is because too many people turn a blind eye during the petty thefts of their earlier careers and then act surprised when they get worse with more power.
Sestak has declared war on "the party".
